The expansion card kit and  ROM sound chips  enable you to add extra sounds to  the  KORG DDD-1 and the DDD-5 Drum Machines.
A selection of  ROM sound chips  fit on the specially designed PCB expansion card  for the DDD-1 and DDD-5.

The PCB Expansion card is designed to fit into any of the ROM card expansion slots on the DDD-1 or DDD-5

DDD-1/5  owners who do not own any of the  original Korg and other 3rd party ROM cards which were available in the 1980's can now  upgrade  their machine easily with many new drum sounds that are available for the first time for  DDD series drum machines.
More ROM sound chips are in development,(see the "SOUND CHIPS" page).
that will enable you to expand the sounds of your DDD-1 with a library of new  sounds.

 Both the Standard and ZIF expansion PCB boards  have a smart  black finish and gold plated edge connectors.

A ZIF (zero insertion force) IC socket fitted to the expansion card  allows easy swapping of ROM chips  

The SET includes the ZIF expansion PCB card, plus any 3 ROM chips of your choice from the soundchips page.
